Research Services

Toronto Branch offers the following Research Services:

1. ELECTRONIC SEARCH SERVICES

Effective from October 1st, 2011, and until futher notice, Toronto Branch is unable to accept any new inquiry requests for the Electronic Search Services.

We will attempt to deal with any inquiry requests received prior to this date.
These changes are a result of the recent death of Sandra Moore who was the long-serving Places of Worship co-ordinator.

2. ENQUIRIES/LOOKUPS
Toronto Branch will undertake genealogy research look-ups, which could include a search of Ontario Archive indexes; birth, marriage and death records; newspaper notices; census; church records; Toronto directories; cemetery transcriptions and burial records. Toronto Branch may also have suggestions for an enquirer as to the approach to take in doing their genealogy research. Enquiry requests are dealt with by volunteers.
